When he was close enough, he let out a playful yowl while jumping onto his back. Redfrond's ear twitched in surprise, but that was all. Lionkit sat there and looked at him for a moment before mewing "Badger ride!" With a sigh and a smirk, Redfrond started taking lumbering steps around the camp with the kit swinging around on his back with squeals of glee

Since Snowfrost was still asleep, Featherkit stumbled outside of the nursery in an attempt to explore.

Flykit heard her brother move, then next thing she knew she saw his gray figure beside her, with a squeak of surprise, she sniffed him. What's going on?

Snowfrost woke up, noticing both Featherkit was gone and Flykit’s eyes had opened. “Your eyes!” she exclaimed, licking her happily. “They’re so beautiful! Did you happen to see where you brother went?” She stood up.

“Thank you!” Snowfrost mewed gratefully, taking her kit from Redfrond and setting him back in the nest. “He snuck out when I was asleep. He’s getting to be more trouble with each day that goes by,” she added with a snort. “I was about to go looking for him, but then Flykit opened her eyes!”
