*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

"Interesting," Nightpaw said, staring at him. "I haven't seen her around camp much.." she trailed off, interested by Lionpaw's story.

Nightpaw rolled back to her paws. Time to see if these kits have any spine.
"Mom... Mom can't be seen right now. She's really sick." Lionpaw told her hesitantly with a glance at his brother
Brackenpaw shook his head violently at Lionpaw when Nightpaw wasn’t looking. “Lilyflight is fine,” he said firmly. “She just has some things she’s taking care of right now.”

Nightpaw flicked her ear. "The same things that Snowfrost is taking care of?" She asked. "I'm not mouse-brained, you know, I've seen her wounds."

"What do you mean? Mom isn't wounded." Lionpaw mewed. "Just sick." He glanced at his brother, his eyes saying I've already said she's sick. Let's just run with it. "And what do you mean by 'the same things that Snowfrost is taking care of?"

“Snowfrost is a warrior,” he snapped. “She has wounds like everyone else.”

Lionpaw nodded vigorously.
Nightpaw ignored Lionpaw, instead turning her gaze on his brother. "Oh yeah?" She muttered, "Wounds that appear out of nowhere? When's this clan last had a battle, huh? She sure wasn't injured in a border fight, or that's all everyone would talk about. They'd want to teach the clan responsible a lesson. But Thunderclan remains as passive as ever." She flicked her tail and started licking her paw. "It's kinda boring, actually."

His tail lashed. "If you don't like it here, you can leave then. I'm sorry our Clan isn't 'exciting' enough for you. I'm sorry we don't go into useless battles that cats could die in for your entertainment." He spat, angry.

He nodded in agreement. “And why is Snowfrost your business?”

Lionpaw no longer wanted to be near a cat that thought battle was 'entertaining', so he stormed out of the den, growling to himself. He joined Aspenpaw and Hazelpaw in the clearing
Brackenpaw followed.

“What happened?” Aspenpaw asked, noticing their faces.
