*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

At the words ‘fresh warriors’, Nightbird appeared, scabbed tail and all. “Can I help?” She inquired. She sat down in order to appear less eager and tried to hide the back half of her tail in the fur of her haunches.
Sunstrike narrowed her eyes slightly. Then relaxed and shrugged. "Sure. Gather a few warriors to go with you and one or two apprentices. The den is somewhere by the Sky Oak."
Rosesky came scampering out of the medicine den, having visited her sister Springsong. "Me! Can I come to find the den? That fox is gonna get a whoopin-"
"Calm down Rosesky."
"
Erm-Sorry. May I come on the patrol?"
Sunstrike nodded her consent. "Nightbird will be leading the patrol. Yes, she's younger than you, but she needs the experience, too. It will be her first battle patrol, so be lenient." She mewed kindly

"Sounds good. You know where it is, right?" She asked Nightbird.

Nightbird nodded. She was about to trot away to the apprentices’ den when she froze. I’m going to be... leading it? She blinked and kept going, this time with her tail slightly higher. She went up to Hazelpaw. “Want to come on fox patrol?” She asked.

(Ah, yeah, time to murder- I mean, gently relocate some fox kits XD)

( :lau )

Hazelpaw quickly finished a vole and nodded. "I'd love to. It might take my mind off of things."

"Should I round up anyone else? She asked.

“Get another apprentice if there’s any that want to come.” Nightbird said. She cast a suspicious look at Frosty and turned around, only to find herself face-to-face with Rosesky.

Nightbird almost yelped. She had not expected her to be standing there. Instead, she flicked her tail, which felt oddly heavy, probably because of the poultice and cobwebs that were gradually falling off. “Yes, get a few warriors.”

"Sorry! Didn't mean to scare you."
(Umm-I don't really know that many people-who wants to come? I'm bringing Nettlespeck, whose form will be filled out soon.)

Hazelpaw nodded and disappeared into the den, reemerging with a grumbling Skypaw.
