Blackpaw leaped into a crouch. His paws planted on the ground. He looked like no cat could push him down. It was as if he had roots.

"Very good." he mewed slightly impressed "Just make your stance the tiniest bit wider, and put your tail like this." he said, demonstrating. "After you get this, I'll teach you a move."

Blackpaw shifted his stance to match Bramblefall's description. He wanted to impress Fangheart.

"Very good!" he said, a little proud that he was finally wanting to listen. "Okay, I'm going to show you move now." Bramblefall started in the battle position, then leaped in the air as if a cat were charging him, and landed squarely on a leaf. "If you use this move correctly and if you're opponent is lighter than you, you could easily pin them."

"What if he isn't?" asked Blackpaw. He preferred not to be punctured like a pin cushion again.
