Knowing that Bramblefall wouldn't let him leave, she tucked her paws back underneath her. "You said you'd tell us your trouble if we told you our explanation. We answered all your questions, there's no reason why you can't tell us what we want to know. Blackpaw, we know about everything, as I've said. They can't do anything to you."

"No!" repeated Blackpaw with a hint of anger. If he told them then he would never be able to kill Robinstar and he would be killed. "If I tell you..." he said taking a breath. "I die." tears started to well up again and he blinked them back.

Bramblefall mewed softly "I can't let you leave unless you tell us." Sunpaw slid her claws out again, expecting him to turn on Bramblefall
