She was surprised. Bramblefall had wanted to make her deputy? But she shook it off. "Well, who else do you trust? Is there anyone who you find yourself trusting or going to with questions?"

While she slept, she felt protected and safe and found herself when she woke pressed to his side like kits to their mother.
