"Fine, what are you going to do to me?" said Blackpaw tauntingly.
 
Bramblefall looked up at the sky, noticing it was going to be sun-down soon. He saw a bundle of traveling herbs outside of the medicine den, so he quickly licked them up, doing his best to ignore the bitter tastes.
 
Brambefall felt the traveling herbs beginning to work, so he started walking to the Moonrock. He faced no troubles on the way across their territory, then reached Fourtrees where he would then have to proceed along the WindClan border. He didn't smell any patrols, so he stayed very close to the scent markers so it was obvious he was only passing through. He encountered a WindClan patrol half-way across and of course they asked him what he was doing. "I am going to the Moonrock." he stated and they gave him confused looks. Hareleap was the one leading the patrol, so he was asking all the questions "Only medicine-cats go to the Moonrock." He growled, sliding out his claws. Bramblefall sighed "Robinstar had died and so now I am leader. I'm trying to go meet with StarClan tonight." Hareleap and the rest of the patrol seemed to take a step back. Robinstar was a very respected cat among all the Clans. "Y-you can go." Hareleap said, leading his patrol onward. Bramblefall crossed the rest of the way without any troubles. Bramblefall found the cave easily, and an internal guide seemed to know the way through the dark. Bramblefall gasped in awe when he saw the Moonrock. He sat down to wait until moon-high, which wasn't faraway now. The moon hit the rock a few minutes later and the rock began to glow and levitate. Bramblefall reached his neck outwards and touched it with his nose. He felt himself sink into the ground and he opened his eyes. He saw eight cats around him, ready to give him his lives. He stood up and took in each cat. There was his Mom and Dad, Rednose and Blossomfrost, there were three leaders, Robinstar, Firestar, and the previous Bramblestar, there was Rainpaw there as well, and his eyes filled with tears at the sight of her. Finally, there were a two warriors that he was close to as an apprentice, Cloudclaw and Lionwing. Bramblefall stood up after taking them all in and said "It is truly an honor to see you all. Some of you for the first time," he said, giving Bramblestar and Firestar a glance, "and some of you for the second time." They all nodded and Firestar came up to him "We know you will be a worthy leader. It's time to give you your lives." Firestar touched his nose and said, "This life is for courage." Bramblefall felt pain shoot through his body and he writhed in agony. "I didn't expect it to hurt so much!" He panted, once the pain had passed. Bramblestar padded forward next. "This life is for strength." He said, pressing his nose to Bramblefalls. Once the pain of that one had passed, his Mom padded up. "This life is for love." that life hurt the most, and it took at least a few minutes before he could even stand again. His dad padded up, "This life is for loyalty." Bramblefall didn't feel any pain from that one, and was a bit surprised. Rainpaw came up next "This life is for good judgement." The pain and lives went on until at last, it was done. He had lives for courage, strength, love, loyalty, good judgement, fairness, able to keep calm in tough situations, and finally, able to be wise and help others. Once it was done, they all said in unison "Bramblefall from this moment onward, you shall be known as Bramblestar!" Bramblestar woke up and saw that the stone was no longer glowing, and he padded back up to the surface and back to their territory. It was only moon-fall, so Bramblestar gladly accepted his soft nest, and fell asleep easily.
