Sunshine sniffed and twitched, waking up. "Sunpaw? Are you awake?" She tapped her with her tail and felt her twitch. She purred and started to lick her and calmly waited for her to awaken.
Sunpaw swiveled her eyes to look at her. "Yeah, I'm up." she said, her voice a bit hoarse.
"Good, you've been sleeping for awhile. Are you hungry? I can't imagine you're not." She stood up and flinched at the sudden cold on her pelt and gave her a mouse. "Eat this, darling. Did you dream?"
Sunpaw ate the mouse gratefully, then nodded, remembering her dream where Spottedleaf gave her a drink
Sunshine cocked her head and asked, "What did you dream of?" Sunshine heard Batkit, 'Spottedleaf! Spottedleaf woke her up'. Sunshine nodded inwardly and turned her attention back to Sunpaw.
"I... I saw.... Spottedleaf. She gave me something to drink, then a few moments later... I woke up." She said, shaking her head confusedly.
Sunshine flicked back her ears, "I have something to tell you.... It's kind of important but you have to let me know I can trust you." Batkit gave a mighty heave, 'You have to tell her, Lilyflight had to kill Shallow because she had to survive. Sunpaw will help you save us! All of us! You must tell her.' Birdkit mewled, "Yeah, come on mom.' Sunshine almost yowled in frustration at the words. I know that, she thought.
Sunpaw was a bit confused, then nodded. "You can trust me. But first.... If you are to really trust me.... you must know who I truly am." She said the last words with a great effort, knowing she had to tell Sunshine she used to be a kittypet.
Sunshine cocked her ears and nodded, "I won't judge you..."
