Thistlekit woke up when Sunstrike came into camp and padded out of the nursery quietly to not disturb Lilyflight.

Lilyflight eventually woke to find Thistlekit gone. Are you okay? she asked worriedly.
Rainkit heard her and thought Yes, I'm fine. Batkit finally woke up last night.
Thistlekit didn't hear her and continued walking around camp and greeting the early risers.
Is Thistlekit with you? He hadn't answered her, and she was getting anxious.
No.... she answered, confused
Thistlekit went to the freshkill pile and started dragging a big piece of prey toward the nursery, trying to get it there before Lilyflight woke up so she didn't have to get up to eat.
He's not here! Thistlekit, where are you? She stood up and padded quickly to the nursery entrance.
Thistlekit wasn't paying attention and bumped right into her. He dropped the prey and mewed "This is for you!"
Lilyflight bent down and licked him all over, feeling relieved. "Thank you," she murmured in between licks. When he was all clean, she straightened up. "Did you hear me calling?" she asked. "I was worried."
"No." He mewed, a bit confused.
"You didn't?" Can you hear me now?
