She licked him back. "I wish it was sooner though. How long until I'm a warrior? How long until I see snow? How long until I get to go on missions?" she chattered.

Strikewhisper laughed, “You’ll be a warrior in about 12 moons. You’ll see snow very soon, it’s coming in the clouds. You’ll go on missions when Bramblestar wants you to.”

"Twelve whole moons? But that's seasons away!" Then her ears pricked as if she had just realized something. "Snow's coming?" Her eyes shone with excitement.
