Rainpaw skidded into the nursery and looked around. She spotted Snowkit and padded up to her, laying her tail on her shoulders. "What happened?"

"N-No one's listening to me!" she sobbed. "Whiteshine's making me stay in the nursery and I didn't do anything! I was j-just trying to help Blackpaw!"

"W-We were playing and he was joking and play-fighting with the kits, so I went to play too. He started play-chasing me and we were having fun when he suddenly looked sad and scared and ran off. W-Whiteshine had told me not to be alone with him, but I forgot and went to go help him. He saved my life for StarClan's sake while we were alone and she's still furious with both of us! I-I just wanted to help." She buried her face into her paws and started crying again.
