She gave a screech of surprise and jumped back, looking up at Thislefern as if asking for an explanation.

"Oh, okay." She sighed with relief and sat down, knowing Spottedleaf was kind and gentle, and nothing would happen to Rainbird. "I know she wouldn't let anything happen to her," she mewed out loud.

Thistlefern purred. "It was kind of funny to watch."

Rainbird's head lifted and she shook off her pelt. "Your power is being able to sense how others are feeling, much better than even a medicine cat."

"Yellowfang didn't have a power, she just switched Clans and had an evil kit." She mewed "You can tell if someone is feeling sad, happy, excited, nervous, evil, innocent, guilty... The list goes on and on. You can tell better than any cat what another cat is feeling."

"Ohhhh okay. That makes a lot more sense. Yellowfang did have a power though, she could feel other cat's pain. She didn't realize that's what it was until the medicine cat told her, though. It's why she switched from being a warrior to a medicine cat."
