“Sometimes that’s what I want to do too,” she laughed. “Well, I hope you can enjoy it even though you didn’t want to come.”

Aspenkit purred and snuggled into Sunstrike’s warm fur. “I love you, mother,” he murmured sleepily before drifting off.
