*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Lilyflight carefully stalked between the branches of the bushes. When she was through, she made an impressive pounce and killed it. She placed her catch on the ground. "Well done!" she called to Sunpaw. "Be careful climbing down, though. We don't want any injuries."
Sunpaw was impressed with Lilyflight and called down "Don't worry I'll be careful. Great catch!" Sunpaw made her way down, branch by branch until she was safely on the forest floor again.

"Thanks, although it was a team effort. What do you say we aim for one more, then head back to camp? We shouldn't need that much prey, almost everyone's eaten."

"Okay! This time, you take the lead." She said with ameusment edging her voice. She liked being in charge, but it felt weird since she was just an apprentice.

"Alright," she smirked. "I scent a water vole..." she crept up to the edge of the stream and pounced. She held the vole in her jaws firmly and walked farther up the bank. Placing it down, she shook her wet front paws irritably. "I will never understand RiverClan," she muttered. "If they want their fur to stick to their skin, then they can be my guest."

Sunpaw stifled a mrrow of laughter at seeing her fur drenched and plastered to her body. "RiverClan sure is strange." Sunpaw retrieved the rabbit and pushed the thrush towards Lilyflight and since she couldn't talk, it was a gesture meaning you can carry it, my mouth is too full. She started trotting back to camp with her catch in her jaws.

"Oh, haha," Lilyflight said sarcastically, though with a glint of amusement. "Don't twitch your whiskers at me! How would you feel if you got to trade places with a RiverClan cat for a day?"

"I didn't say anything!" Sunpaw said, dropping her rabbit. "Oh, almost forgot." She walked over to the bank of the stream and grabbed a bundle of marigold and put it in a wrap of leaves. "Okay, now we can go." She said, picking up the bundle and the rabbit.
