Lilyflight felt her fur prickle where he had brushed his tail against it.

Sunpaw has emerged from her den when she heard Lilyflight and Blackpaw arguing, and saw the whole exchange between all of them. When Lilyflight had gone to the fresh-kill pile, Sunpaw came up to her holding a sparrow and sat down to eat next to her. Once she had taken a few bites, she said to her "You know... Bramblefall likes you."

When they got to a certain area where cats had not hunted in awhile, Bramblefall stopped and asked "Blackpaw, what can you scent?"
