*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

"Maybe it was a bit more personal since you're her closest friend."

Sunpaw darted out of the apprentices den and quickly grabbed what was at the top of the pile before running back to the den where no one would see her.
Lilyflight watched her go sadly. "I think you may be right," she murmured.

"She's just grieving for her friend," he mewed comfortingly "They were a lot closer than you think." he licked her ears.
"I can imagine," she sighed, returning the lick. "But I'm worried for her. I know grieving can change cats... but it's like I don't recognize her! At least most cats snap out of it if you point it out..." she said, remembering Whiteshine. "But Sunpaw feels different for some reason."

"You know how she takes things very personally, especially sad things that strike close to heart."

Sunpaw darted out of camp, feeling a little suffocated and climbed up a tree where she could still see camp from it, hoping that no cat would find her for now.

"You're right," she mewed, feeling comforted a bit. "I'll try not to worry, but I can't promise anything if she doesn't sway a bit in a few days. And I sure hope the poor young she-cat doesn't try climbing up trees..." she continued, noticing her golden pelt flash.

"Well, I think she just did." he mewed, noticing Sunpaw's calico pelt in a tree over-looking camp.

"Do you want me to go get her?"

Sunpaw felt a bit better, so she carefully started climbing down
"I really don't know. If she's so upset that she climbed a tree, then I don't know if it would be a good idea to disturb her. But I still want to help her! Maybe we can have a word with Whiteshine?"
