Sunpaw flicked Lilyflight's ear with her tail forcefully, but made it look like an accident to Bramblefall. The gesture meant that she could tell him. She hoped that she got the message.

Lilyflight struggled to keep herself from reacting. Well, I didn't know she was awake. "Well, she and Rainpaw were born kittypets," she explained. "When there were two queens who each lost a kit, they took them in. But they were forbidden to tell anyone where they come from, in fear that they would be rejected from the Clan."

"What? Kittypets?! She acts and has the heart of a true warrior though..." He took a breath to calm down then mewed "I thought you said something about secrets and Sunpaw telling me...?"

"Oh, that," she smirked. "That tail flick wasn't an accident. But onto your other question, I don't think it matters where we're born. Sunpaw and Rainpaw are proof of that. They both knew of their past and yet never let it affect them. Every cat has a place where their heart lays, and it's obvious where Sunpaw keeps her heart, and where Rainpaw kept hers."

"I guess your right. But still, I would've never expected that. Wait, Sunpaw is awake?" His voice became a little bit firmer and he said "Go on Sunpaw, you can go."

Sunpaw stood up, shook her pelt and walked out, not saying anything.

"Bye! Thanks for coming to visit," she called after her. "And yes, it's all true," she said, turning back to Bramblefall.

Sunpaw waved what little of a tail she had in order to she she heard her before leaving.

"Wow... I never would've thought her of all things... Blackpaw maybe." He said the last part with a twitch of his whiskers.

"Like I said, every cat has their own interests at heart. True loyalty runs deep in our blood, but what makes a true warrior is when that loyalty stays, no matter how much blood is lost."
