"Thanks!" she responded. "I've been well. I'm nervous, but excited. I just hope I can be a good mother," she fretted.

Realizing she was the only one without prey, she dropped into a crouch and crept toward a hare. She was just close enough and shot out. She batted it to the ground and felt it's muscles struggle. She killed it quickly but the little fight drained her. "Caught it."
