Whiteshine fell asleep easily, feeling comforted by his scent.

Strikewhisper felt something push him and rolled over, waking up. "Wh-Wha- What pushed me? What's going on?" He was groggy and tired he limply tried to roll back into the nest.

Whiteshine woke up and hissed under her breath, feeling the little ones inside her moving. "Nothing. Since we're both up, why don't we go hunting?" she mewed, trying to hide it. I'm going to tell him not you she thought, looking at her belly

He stood up and flexed his muscles. He was still tired but he looked at her, I'm sure you just nudged me with a paw, but sure let's go."
 
Whiteshine stood up, and led the way into the forest, the entire time figuring when and how to tell him.
Strikewhisper jaws widened in a slightly gaping expression as he scented for prey. He spotted a mouse and jumped it, caught it. He had slightly misjudged the leap and nearly crashed into a tree. He caught himself just on time and laughed. "I was Treewhisper!"

Whiteshine laughed and watched the mouse cross her path. She shot out her neck and killed it with a swift bite.

"Good job!" He bounded back over and buried it. "We should restock the prey pile, then we can eat ourselves. I mean not physically ourselves, you know prey."
