"Ow!" Lilyflight mewed suddenly. "What's going on?" It felt like a kick, except it was a lot bigger than a tiny paw, and it was still there.

Suddenly she gasped. She understood what they were trying to tell her. "Oh little one," she whispered, wrapping her tail more tightly around herself. Lilyflight bowed her head to hide her tears.

Thistlekit's legs gave out, and he heard her gasp. I helped whoever is on the outside! Yay! he thought, releasing the dead kit from the wall.

Bramblestar padded out, sensing something was wrong. He ran to her side and licked her ears. "What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.
