Nope, Thistlekit is going to help her this time. Rainkit responded.

Thistlekit raced into the herb store and dug out borage, a branch, and some razzberry leaves. He raced back into the nursery and put the branch in Whiteshine's mouth who accepted it gratefully. He chewed the razzberry leaves into a pulp and Whiteshine ate it, feeling the pain going slightly away. Thistlekit kept the borage for later and started massaging Whiteshine's stomach, seeing how many kits there were and helping it along.

Lilyflight walked in to find Thistlekit helping Whiteshine, as Rainkit had said. She settled close enough to be comforting but far enough so that Thistlekit had room to work and she wasn't crowding her. "That's it," she said gently. "Just take deep breaths."

Whiteshine evened out her breathing like Lilyflight had said to while Thistlekit worked. A few moments later, she was looking at a rather large white kit. She swept her close to her stomach and started grooming her. Thistlekit gave Whiteshine the borage who ate it then he sat down next to Lilyflight

"She's beautiful..." she murmured admiringly.

The little white kit felt something rough rasping over her fur, she couldn't see it, so she gave a mew of protest. She cut herself off as she smelled something and snuggled close to something soft and warm, suckling hungrily.

Whiteshine watched the kit fondly, affection brimming in her eyes. "I'm going to call you Snowkit." She mewed in between licks

Whiteshine snuggled her closer and wrapped her tail around her. "You're going to be a noise maker when you're older, aren't ya?" She laughed
