(Agh! I feel confused. @BuffOrps32 Bluetail is the mentor to Rainpaw, just clarifying things, and Lilyflight is mentor to Thistlepaw.)
Bluetail thought for a moment and then mewed "We're close to the Thuderpath, so we could go there next."

She nodded approvingly. "Make sure you listen well while we're there," she told the apprentices as she began to lead.

Rainpaw sighed and followed them, she felt that the tour was useless for her, she'd already learned all of this before. Thistlepaw nodded and bounced along behind them.

They soon made it to the Thunderpath. "This is the Thunderpath," she explained. "The monsters here are dangerous, but they never seem to leave the path, so stay away and you'll be fine."

Thistlepaw nodded and touched the hard surface with a paw and sniffed it. "Yuck!" He exclaimed.

Rainpaw looked on, bored.

Lilyflight heard the rumbling of a monster coming near. "Get back!" She thrust her tail in front of Thistlepaw and forced him away from the Thunderpath.

Thistlepaw fell back, bewildered. "They move fast!" He exclaimed "Faster than a WindClan cat even..." He muttered.

Rainpaw snickered and stalked a few lengths into the forest, spotting a blackbird.

"Yes, they do," Lilyflight agreed, slipping back as the monster came past. "That's why you stay away from it unless it's necessary to come near."
