Moonpaw looked confused, "Our leader says that the law there is above his and that they are above all. Fangheart assigned him a mentor. Blackblood is the only warrior made so far. And I got him to train me." She mewed proudly.

"What is being a warrior to you?" she asked. "Being a true warrior is about not just strength, but honor. If you kill cats who can't defend themselves just because you can, what kind of honor is that? It's not any. The warrior code is how we become true warriors, not just through strength of body."

Blackblood hissed, he was filled with rage for her scolding his apprentice like this. He leaped on her back, claws unsheathed. "The only cat who will be scolding my apprentice is me!" He snarled

Moonpaw shook her head, "I know but the Dark Forest only kills when we have to. Fangheart is the only cat who kills a lot. Blackblood is going to teach me to be strong and brave. My other mentor teaches me everything else."

She shoved him off of her, shocked. "We're going back to camp," she snarled. "Now."

Blackblood bared his teeth. "No, I'm not." He snarled, feeling protective of Moonpaw. "I'm going to bring Moonpaw back to her camp." He whipped around and crossed over the border with Moonpaw, leaving before she could even respond
