Grizzlykit plowed through his siblings to get to his mother's side. He gulped big mouthfuls of warm milk as he batted siblings aside when they tried to take his place. When his belly was round and full, he led out a loud mew. He wanted to open his eyes! But his eyelids wouldn't cooperate. They felt to heavy. He let out another loud mew to let the world know he was feeling frustrated.

Grizzlykit plowed through his siblings to get to his mother's side. He gulped big mouthfuls of warm milk as he batted siblings aside when they tried to take his place. When his belly was round and full, he led out a loud mew. He wanted to open his eyes! But his eyelids wouldn't cooperate. They felt to heavy. He let out another loud mew to let the world know he was feeling frustrated.

Hazelkit growled and got his tail in her mouth. She bit down with what little strength in her jaws there was to let him know that she wasn't going to take his crap. Then she crawled back up to Sunstrikes belly and suckled.

Sunstrike woke up to his loud mewing and gave him a comforting lick

“But you still need to be careful!” she mewed, returning the lick. “You can still die, just like anyone else.”

Hazelkit growled and got his tail in her mouth. She bit down with what little strength in her jaws there was to let him know that she wasn't going to take his crap. Then she crawled back up to Sunstrikes belly and suckled.

Sunstrike woke up to his loud mewing and gave him a comforting lick

She sighed, knowing she couldn’t say anything to change his mind. “Just be careful,” she begged. “Please.”
