Floodpaw sat down too. “So umm...” She didn’t know where to start. It was her first time alone with the Clan leader. “I want to become a medicine cat.” Her voice was shy and quiet.

He pricked his ears, intrigued. "Why is that?" He asked, his voice still gentle and his eyes soft.
“I- I have to,” she explained.
"Alright." He nodded. "Go see Owlherb then."
She nodded and hesitantly padded to the medicine den.
Feathersky looked up from sorting her herbs and noticed her. "Hello, Floodpaw. What can I do for you?"
“I want to become a medicine cat.”
She pricked her ears, slightly surprised. "Erm... okay." She said slowly. "Owlherb?" Owlherb padded in. "Yes?"
"It looks like you have yourself an apprentice."
"What? I don't understand."
"Floodpaw."
She dipped her head. "Alrighty then. Floodpaw, have you talked with Bramblestar?"
“Yes, I have.” She felt dazed by the speed everything was happening
"Good. We'll start by gathering herbs. I was just about to go gather some marigold, so you can join me."
