Feathersky left camp and began heading towards where they grew catmint.

“Hi.” She looked around, as if just realizing where she was.

“How many poppyseeds did you eat?” Floodlight asked curiously. “You’ve been out for a while.”

“I dunno. Four?”

She snorted with amusement. “Well, that explains it.”

Feathersky reached the small stream that they grew beside. She began quickly snipping the stalks with quick movements and soon all she could smell was the crisp scent of catmint

Because all she could smell was catmint, a fox snuck up on Feathersky and delivered a fatal blow to her neck. All she could manage was a yowl of fear before she died

Snowpaw suddenly felt a sharp jolt of fear and a piercing pain. “Somethings wrong!” she gasped.

“What’s wrong? With who?” Floodlight demanded.

“I- I don’t know. I can just tell,” she whimpered.

Redfrond's patrol heard her shriek and started rushing toward where they heard the noise. He could smell blood and felt his heart drop

Soon, Redfrond's patrol discovered her body and the fox was long gone. He felt his belly fill with dread and he let out a caterwaul of grief, hoping the cats back at camp would hear

Lilyflight sent Flamefrost, Whiteshine, and Strikewhisper out to where the grief-filled caterwaul had come from.

Lilyflight sent Flamefrost, Whiteshine, and Strikewhisper out to where the grief-filled caterwaul had come from.

Whiteshine quickly gathered the patrol and set a brisk pace into the forest

Redfrond ordered his patrol to carry her body back to camp. He also helped carry her.

Feathersky reunited with old friends and was soon in the sky, on the way to StarClan
