Snowfrost resumed her vigil and Lilyflight went back to her kits.

Blackblood grabbed something from the fresh-kill pile and settled down to eat, ignoring his scratches from the previous night. He went out to go hunting after.

Beetlepaw waited until Blackblood had left, then grabbed a thrush from the pile and settled down to eat in the corner. Bramblestar hasn't assigned me a mentor yet... He mused

As soon as his eyelids closed, he was in the familiar Dark Forest. He purred, satisfied. I am the leader here, no one can tell me what to do. They listen to me and respect me here. He jumped into a tree and let out a yowl. Soon apprentices and mentors of the Dark Forest appeared. He flicked his tail contentedly. "Tonight, you may use your claws for training if you so wish to. Other than that, proceed training as normal." He told his cats then jumped from the tree and to his own apprentice, Beetlepaw.

Bramblestar called Lilyflight to his den. When she got there, he mewed "You heard about the newest arrival, Beetlepaw, right?"

Beetlepaw finished his thrush and began to lick some of his wounds that were still bleeding lightly.

Snowfrost had finished her vigil at dawn, eaten a thrush, and curled up into a nest in the warrior’s den.

"Well, a patrol found him, he's 6 moons, both his parents are dead, and he wanted to join, so now he's in our Clan." He mewed, giving a brief description about what had happened. "Now he needs a mentor... but who?"

“Oh, the poor thing,” she murmured. “Well, I don’t know if there are many warriors available... Except for Snowfrost, but she's only just been made a warrior. Although,” she added, “she passed all her assessments with top marks. I think she’d make a good mentor.”
