She sensed that this wasn’t the truth, but said nothing. Of course, the Dark Forest! she realized. “Well, you’ve taught yourself well then,” she said after a slight hesitation. “How much do you know?”

"Enough." He answered vaguely, glancing quickly at Redfrond.

Picking up on Redfrond’s suspicion, she decided to change the subject. “Let’s try something a bit more advanced then. I’m going to jump on your back, and I want you to rear up and knock me off. Use my momentum against me, don’t try to fight my weight.”

He nodded and adjusted his stance to prepare for her weight and momentum

He purred, glad he was able to impress her.

Redfrond sensed there was more going on here. He must've used this move before if he was able to do it that well the first time
