Blackblood pinned the fox down and slashed its throat.
“What are you doing?” she choked. “What is this?”
Beetlepaw whimpered, too scared to move.
“You’ll find out. And you’ll come quietly, or die.” Darksky hauled her roughly to her paws and warriors surrounded her as she struggled not to limp.
Blackblood met her gaze, unflinching. He smirked at the fear in her eyes. "Let's go." He mewed to Darksky.
It seemed that she had only blinked when she found herself in the Dark Forest.
Once they were there, Blackblood paced around her. "Snowfrost, Snowfrost, Snowfrost." He shook his head. There was an evil gleam in his eyes. "You denied me once, but that's not going to happen again, is it?" He snarled, stopping and looking her in the eyes. He then looked around, noticing Beetlepaw wasn't there. "Dang it! Shadowclaw, I thought I told you to get Beetlepaw!" He snarled, whipping around to face a RiverClan warrior. "Whatever... Beetlepaw!" Beetlepaw appeared. "Ah, there you are. Now stay here." Beetlepaw could only nod, his eyes wide in disbelief when he saw Snowfrost
She felt terror deep in her core, but for one moment her defiance overwhelmed it. “And what is that supposed to mean?” Snowfrost snarled. “Are you having a tantrum because I didn’t want to stay up all night to go gallivanting into the Dark Forest and break the warrior code?”
"Thank you, Darksky." Blackblood mewed. "It's supposed mean that you're our prisoner here now, and there's no way for you to get out. We've hidden your sleeping body well, no cat will ever find it while you're here."
“How am I asleep? You woke me up! And will the others think I’m dead, or will they just not be able to find me?” She shook her head. “This is all so confusing...” Then she lifted her head. “But I’m not staying here, if that’s what you think. Blackblood, tell me what I’m doing here. Now.” Snowfrost looked at Beetlepaw, shock and hesitance in her eyed. She sensed his fear and knew he hadn’t known this would happen. But I did, she thought sadly. Or at least, kind of.
