*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

"That's great! Being nervous is perfectly natural. What would you say if I told you there was a way to start training and helping out your Clan before you were an apprentice?"
“I can do that?” he asked, confused now, but also excited. “What do I have to do?”

"We'll start out with basic training, then depending on your talent and skills, we'll go to more advanced things." He mewed breezily
“Okay! But is it alright if I sleep tonight? I’m really tired.”

Snowfrost knew she couldn’t call out however much she wanted to. It didn’t make her position any easier, especially with Darksky watching her intently as if she was a piece of juicy prey.

"Of course! You will always have a choice of being able to sleep or train each night." He promised. Leaning in, he whispered "To get out of here, raise your front right paw and bush your fur, then you'll go back to your nest. Before you go, you can't tell anyone about this place, okay? It's our special little secret. Imagine how surprised your future mentor will be when they see how much you already know!"

His eyes brightened. “Yeah! Thanks, Blackblood!” He obeyed the instructions and was soon sleeping in his nest again.

“I know you wanted to say something,” Darksky growled. “But don’t. Not unless you’re willing to pay for it.”

Snowfrost refused to shrink in fear of defiance. She met Darksky’s gaze steadily without speaking, ignoring the fear that pulsed within her.

He purred with satisfaction as he left. That went better than he thought it would. He walked back over to where Darksky was. "That went well, don't you think?"

“Yes, I think it did,” she said with satisfaction. “He’s an eager one. What’s his name again?”

“You don’t need to know, because you’re not doing anything to him,” Snowfrost growled.

Darksky whipped her head around. “What did I just tell you?”

"His name is Aspenkit." He mewed, ignoring Snowfrost.
