“Okay, I will,” she nodded. Dipping her head, she stood up and exited the den, looking around until she found Blackblood. “Blackblood,” she greeted as she hurried over, “is it alright if I talk to you for a bit?”

“The only way you can make sure she doesn’t is to help us get her out,” she said, allowing a hint of desperation into her voice. “She needs more cars than normal as it is, being in constant fear, no proper nest, no regular feeding schedules, no medicine cat... She won’t make it. You can’t keep her alive forever.”
