“It has been deemed necessary.” She stopped and took a deep breath. If she angered Blackblood too much, he might not help at all. “Please, listen. Talk to Floodlight if you need it. Look at Snowfrost’s body in the medicine den. She’s dying.”

(Wow, my spelling was horrible for necessary XD)

He lashed his tail, and in that one move, they were transported to the Dark Forest, beside Snowfrost. He crawled under a bush, brought out a giant hare and put it in front of her. "As you can see, I feed her well. She has a fine nest and a stream that she can drink from."

Snowfrost heard something and lifted her head weakly. Her eyes widened in fear, but then she relaxed a moment later as she saw it was only Lilyflight.

Lilyflight looked her over. She was dirty and smeared with her own blood. “This isn’t fine at all,” she murmured sadly. “Please, let her come back. She needs help.”

"I have been helping groom her, just with all the new ap-" He cut himself off, realizing he was about to give away some secrets. "Just with all the things I have to do, I don't have as much time to help anymore." He mewed, covering up his mistake quickly.

“She needs more!” Lilyflight hissed. “Try looking at her again, but without your view. Look like you’re seeing her for the first time. What do you see?”

Snowfrost didn’t move. She couldn’t summon the strength. The only part of her that moved was the kits, but even they seemed weaker.

He gave in with a sigh and looked her over. "I see a white cat with dirt mud and blood across her fur, and kits in her belly." He stated simply, pushing the hare towards Snowfrost

She sniffed it but couldn’t bring herself to raise her head.

Wordlessly, Lilyflight stepped forward and placed a gentle paw over her belly. The kits weren't as strong as they should have been. Then she bent her head and listened to Snowfrost’s heart, which had also grown weaker. “She needs to get out of here right now.”

He smirked. "Sure, she can get out. If we can have you instead." He had been thinking about this the whole time they were talking. "Yes, that'll do nicely. It'll cause panic and disorder in the Clan, which will give me the ability to recruit more apprentices from ThunderClan unnoticed."

Lilyflight hesitated. If Snowfrost didn’t leave, she would die. But more could die if the Dark Forest was given power. Yet she had to try. Sunstrike could take care of her kits while she was gone. Snowfrost could tell the others about the Dark Forest’s plan. “I’ll do it,” she growled. “But I want to see Snowfrost freed first.”

No! Snowfrost thought desperately. She can’t do that!
