Flamefrost looked up at her apprentice. “What are you doing out of bed?” she asked, a little sharply, as she walked over, moonlight shining on her fur.

Nightpaw opened her mouth to snap a sharp remark, but then reminded herself that she wasn't talking to an adopted kit-sibling, but her mentor, a respected warrior. "Well, there's a reason cats can see in the dark, isn't there?" She tried to form her irritated words into a question, trying not to get on the wrong side of her mentor.

*snowlilly layed down where she was. She gave a yawn before laying her head down on her paws.*

Snowlilly: were you born here??

“You can’t go sneaking out at night,” she said, fighting irritation. “I’ll let you off this time, but you need to respect the rules more.” She walked back over to Snowlily.

“Yes, I was. Almost everyone is, but ThunderClan has taken in outsiders more than any other Clan. The others might not like it, but what ThunderClan does is none of their business.”

Nightpaw bit back a sharp response. Load of dung those rules are. Rouges hunt at night! Loners hunt at night! Much more sensible, if you ask me. She crept back to the apprentice's den, her tail twitching low over the ground.

Snowlilly: oh. Id been a few groups now and then, but they werent for me, for different reasons. The last one was a group of rogues that tricked me into joining by acting like good and respectable cats untill I agreed to join.

“Well, in a way.” Darktail is long dead now, she told herself firmly. He didn’t even believe in StarClan, so he can’t be in the Dark Forest.... Can he? Darksky is like that too, and she’s the one holding Lilyflight captive.
