"We can do it together." He mewed. "I'll order everyone to go to their dens so they won't see how badly you're actually injured, I'll help you to my den where you can stay until you're healed along with the kits and then we can call Blackblood in." He resolved. "Floodlight can stay in there too if she wants to keep an eye on you."

“Should we ask her?” Lilyflight asked. Then she added, “And I think you can take your paw off my head now.”

He smirked and removed it. "Probably. Floodlight? Is it alright to move Lilyflight and the kits to my den? You can move some of the cobwebs and anything you might need in there and it's plenty big enough to hold three adults and 3 kits, if you want to stay to keep an eye on her."

Floodlight hesitated, but eventually won herself over by saying Lilyflight would probably heal faster by staying with Bramblestar, anyway. “Okay,” she said at last. “But even if it takes her a moon to walk there, don’t rush her.”

He nodded. "I understand. I'll be right back." He mewed to her before standing and leaping to the Highrock. "I would like for all cats to go to their dens until I say it is alright to come back out." Once all cats had gone to their dens and he was sure that no one was peeking out, he went to the medicine den and helped Lilyflight stand

Confused slightly, Flamefrost went into the warrior’s den.

Hissing under her breath, Lilyflight managed to get to her paws with Bramblestar’s help. “This reminds me of the fox fight,” she panted. “Remember? I was pathetic then, too.”

He gave a light laugh. "But you fought through it, and you'll fight through this too." He mewed, beginning to walk very slowly toward his den

She followed him, wanting to get there quickly but also holding back in fear of making things worse. Every movement hurt, and she found herself putting practically all her weight on Bramblestar. Well, at least I’m not nearly as heavy as I was before I was kept prisoner.
