(I think I might make a new character, what do y'all think? Can I make an apprentice or are there too many of those right now? Are there any queens expecting kits?)

She smiled. "Let's go.""Alright" Dustfur nodded, a bit surprised. "That would be smart--squirrels are very active at dusk."
She set off at a brisk trot beside Sunstrike. She didn't know her that well. "So..do you have an apprentice? I'm sorry--I can't remember" She apologized stiffly. She smiled. "Let's go."
She purred in amusement. "Don't worry, it's fine. I've had 2 apprentices so far. I don't currently have one, though." She thought for a moment, "Do you hope that you'll get to mentor one of Snowfrosts kits?"She set off at a brisk trot beside Sunstrike. She didn't know her that well. "So..do you have an apprentice? Bramblestar stood up in surprise. He twitched his whiskers in slight annoyance as Moosepelt walked to the medicine before lying down again to "sleep"Moosepelt plopped down by the fresh kill pile and took a big rabbit. Murmuring 'sorry' to the dead creature in his jaws for the indignity, he dragged gingerly across camp to his favorite spot. You see, while Moosepelt was slightly lacking in the brains department, he certainly made up for it in the size of his heart.
Moosepelt was always the one kit who would sit and watch a fluttering moth silently glide with respect and awe while the others--if they stumbled upon one, went wild in a game of chase.
He didn't like seeing other creatures suffer, and didn't delight in the hunt as some of his clan members did. But he knew it was necessary. He and the clan must eat. Still, he always made sure to try and treat his meals with the utmost respect.
Still, he was a massive cat with a voracious appetite and after uttering thanks to the rabbit for it's life, he ate it quickly.
Licking his chops, he made his way across camp.
WHOA! He exclaimed, tripping over Bramblestar with his great clumsy paws. "Uh--Bramblestar! I'm sorry! I didn't see you there!" He apologized quickly, shuffling out of the way but stepping on a pointy rock, causing him to hiss in pain. "Ouch! I uh--stepped on a rock. I'll just...go to the medicine den. Heh."
And he limped away awkwardly.
"Duh, your fur's not black," Nightbird replied briskly, not looking at him as she put her front paws on a rock and pricked her ears. She was totally focussed on the sounds surrounding them. The flutter of a bird's wings in the highest branches of an old birch, Firespot's pawsteps as he left them in order to find more prey, Lionpaw's breathing, and... a rustling noise. She instantly crouched and went as quickly as possible in that direction to find... a raven. It looked too big for her to catch, and besides, the intelligent bird already had its eyes on her. She sighed and went back to searching for scents."Nice catch!" Lionpaw mewed genuinely. "If I had done that, it probably would've gotten away."
Dustfur nodded uncertainly. "I suppose I might." She answered carefully. After a pause she confided, "But If Bramblestar had thought I was fit to mentor he would have probably given me an apprentice by now, so my hopes aren't high."She purred in amusement. Lionpaw watched her work in awe. How did she work so fast? He took his attention away from her to focus on his own hunting. After several heartbeats, he could smell a vole. He slowly and quietly began stalking toward it, making he wouldn't step on anything that would make noise as he went."Duh, your fur's not black," Nightbird replied briskly, not looking at him as she put her front paws on a rock and pricked her ears. Sunstrike's whiskers twitched in amusement. "Bramblestar didn't let me have an apprentice until I was 20 moons. And I'm even his adopted daughter! I wouldn't worry too much."Dustfur nodded uncertainly. "I suppose I might." She answered carefully. After a pause she confided, "But If Bramblestar had thought I was fit to mentor he would have probably given me an apprentice by now, so my hopes aren't high."
Dustfur cast her a quick side glance. "You think?" She asked, careful to not sound too relieved.Lionpaw watched her work in awe. How did she work so fast?
