Runny black poop

[Its Just Us Chickens]

One of my chickens has left runny black poop allover my front steps. I have no idea which one.
These are RIRs and one Barred Rock, they're grown, but I don't know their age and one of the RIR hens has been laying eggs

What does runny black poop mean?

oh and they free range, are fed food scraps and layer pellets

It could just be a cecal poo. Once every...I think 10 poos is from the cecum, and it's usually runny looking and quite dark - and also much stinkier than "regular" poo.

Ok, it looks something similar to one under the oily/foamy catagory so I guess that makes it in the normal range. Good.
