what all are you feeding?
I see you're in NH..is the weather hot there?
sometimes, if they drink more water then usual..the droppings will be runny.
if they are eating lettuce..or lots of other greens, veggies and fruits..the droppings will be effected.
make sure the water is clean..no algae.

what color are the droppings?

try to figure out if it is one hen..and which one..and keep an eye on droppings.
chickens have "cecal droppings" a few times a day which are dark and very messy..this is normal..
but runny droppings all or most of time are not normal..

another possible cause is cocci.
do you have any cocci meds on hand?

have the chickens been wormed?

I feed layer pellets and crack corn they also get greens a few times a week and other snacks !!! It is not hot right now, has been raining for about a week now !!! I know they like to drink the water that drips off of the coop (rain water) we rinse there water thing out a few times a week !!! The poop is a runny brown color. I have no clue what cocci is so no I dont have meds for it, what is it ? I have not wormed them and I don't belive they were wormed at the place I got them from, I just got them about a 1 1/2 weeks ago and I dont belive they were feed all that good !!!! They had no clue what to do with the greens I put out, took em a few days to figure it out !!! They didnt even know what the outside was !!!! So I was thinking maybe it's still b/c they are new and eating alot better !!! Maybe the rain ? Thanks for your help !!!
