I have 29 bantam chicks. They are 4 weeks old, and most of them are growing at a steady rate. I have 3 that are practically the same size as when I first received them. They are feathering out but have hardly grown at all. Are they just runts? Advice appreciated. (Picture of a size comparison of one of my “runts”)

Could be a good idea to seperate the extra smalls and give them extra attention. This will protect them from potential bullying and could maybe help with growth as itll reduce stress, reduce resource competition, and you can monitor them closely.

I have the exact same problem. I have 7 growing at a steady rate and 1 that has not. I did separate the one tiny one. Really hasn't grown except has some feathers now, but no where near like the other ones.
