RUNT CHICK

I am new to the Backyard Chicken life, but... it seems to be going well!
Coop built beyond my expectations, due to my AWESOME Hubby! And, everything working out well...so far!

But, 8 weeks ago....I purchased 6 chicks...all the same size at the time. And now, I seem to have a runt. Leg Horn Runt! She is the smallest and the bravest!

Only half the size of the others....she is a BAD *** little chicken.....what is UP with that??

Runts... small yet mighty. I have a chicken that was the runt of the chicks. Now she's the first to the feeder every time. Never underestimate them.
