Runt? Or just slow grower?

I have a chick that's a runt, half the size of the others. She wouldn't eat and still isn't drinking well from the waters. I gave her an egg yolk with extra vitamins with a dropper for a day at about a week old and she started eating on her own. She's still smaller than the rest but doing fine now. Maybe offer this one a little extra in its own space so it doesn't have to compete?

Chicks eat better when they have competition. It stimulates them to grab their share. The only time this doesn't work is when the chick is too sick and weak.
