So our mini lop doe had a litter of 8 kits last saturday, its been very cold here so other then the original check to make sure everyone was alive and get a count I have left them be. Today was warm and sunny so I was checking them over and noticed that one is tiny compared to the others, and has a sunken in belly, when i was little and we had rabbits I remember just holding the smaller kits under mom and letting them get a little extra, I tried that but she kept freaking out as soon as it would latch on, I tried holding her but... she is not a holdable bunny, she is fine in the cage but as soon as you pick her up its a kicking killer rabbit. Her name is Ninja if that explains anything. Any other ideas for how to help the little one? They are crossed with satins, and most will just be meat rabbits but I still don't want to loose one if there is anything I can do to help it.

You could try feeding it like an orphan. You might be able to get rabbit formula at the pet store, but making it is less expensive.
Here is the recipe:

1 pint skim milk
2 egg yolks
2 tablespoons Karo syrup
1 tablespoon bone meal

Feed twice a day using an eyedropper. Feed them until they stop taking the milk, about 5-7 mL. Make sure he is kept warm and uses the bathroom regularly.

This is from the book Barnyard in your Backyard.
I hope it helps.
