Hooray!! We have one little black langshan that's smaller than the others. She's slow to figure out how to eat and drink, and she sleeps more than the others. Today she's been more active and eating lots! I think our sweet little one is finally coming around!! [IMG]

I have a runt BR she is now 10 wks old and about 1/4th of the size of the rest, I separated her from the others when she was small and she has been raised with my polish, so she hasn't been picked upon. At first I had my doubts as to whether or not she would make it. But today she is just as lively as the others, just tiny. DH says his luck she'll live 50 yrs eat twice as much as the others and never lay en egg, lol. Good luck with your runt, they can surprise you.

My little Cuckoo Marans that had a rough start is now getting stronger, too. I love being able to nuture them and watch them grow.

That is great news!!! I was really worried about this one. The first few days it was a small miracle when I'd wake up and she was still alive. We have a group of 2 weekers and this baby and her siblings are a week old today. I think putting her in with the bigger chicks really helped her come around!
