Came home to a pasty bum on my sweet little 4-day-old chick. Then noticed a small air bubble on the back of her neck by her wing. It has grown in the last hour so it's now visible from the front,
I think it's a ruptured air sac and so am I supposed to poke it with a sterile needle and hope it deflates? It is soft to the touch and looks like air.
