Hi There! My name is Miranda and we are moving to a rural area in the Niagara region of Ontario. I grew up on the farm but it has been many years since I have lived and worked any sort of land larger than a Toronto backyard. I have been growing lots of fruit and veg in a very small area for a long while but come August 26th I will have over an acre to play with. I have already ordered some chicks (5) and am having a friend raise them to pullet size as I do not have the facilities (yet) to do so. I did not want them debeaked and could not find a hatchery that did not do this so this was my logical option. I am looking to raise laying hens and will need all the support and kindness I can get!
