Russians?

So I got my Russian Orloffs back in April, one of them has started to lay a little over a week ago. These girls have been so good natured, and this past week, the one that started laying has been coming at my husband! Not sure why, because he like me, have held them and spoiled them like crazy. Can someone tell me if this is normal behavior when they begin laying????

I am suspecting a cockerel among your pullets and therefore would need better, bigger pictures for possible confirmation.
