Wow. those are the longest spurs on a hen I have ever seen...Spurs don't actually show gender....take this hen for example...

She has giant spurs. Usually cockerels can be very aggressive to humans, so that is why we are trying to figure out if you've got a boy. We can tell that by looking at saddle feathers- the feathers at the base of the tail, and to do that, we need pictures that we can zoom in on

YES, ONLY ONE. NOT SURE WHY THE OTHERS AREN'T ALREADY LAYING ALSO, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SAME AGE???
Thank you for your insight. She may be coming at him because of his black croc shoes. I told him that he needs to not wear them when he is around them. As I said, all of my girls are girls, no cockeral in the mix, I will be patient and wait for them to start laying. Since my post, another one has started to lay!Just because they're the same age, doesn't mean that they're all going to start laying at the same time. I got six hens that are all the same age. One started laying about a month ago, and one hasn't started laying yet. One of them layed her first egg today.
Looking at the pictures, this looks like a hen. If she was a he at this age, that comb would be red and probably a little bit bigger. On some hens, their combs will start getting red when they're getting ready to lay.
As far as coming at your husband. Is she actually attacking him? Like grabbing his pants leg and beating him with her wings? Or is she just running at him? My hens will peck at me and scratch me trying to get a treat out of me. Also, is there a possibility that she just wants to follow him around? Is she attacking his shoes? If so, in what way? Is for some strange reason, his shoes appear as an intruding strange hen or something? Recently someone on BYC was attacked because of her socks.
If it continues to be a problem, and she proves that she is a she, and you're looking for a way to stop her, have your husband pick her up every time she comes at him. If pecking is a huge problem, have him hold her upside down by her legs. This might discourage her from coming at him all the time.
