Rust in Chicken Waterer

Thank you! I have never added anything acidic to it. I'll go ahead and buy a new one. Next stop......Tractor Supply!

I know this is an older post. I’m just checking in to see how your second waterer worked out. I’ve been through 2 Tractor Supply waterers and they both only lasted one year. The water is currently totally opaque orange. I didn’t want plastic, but that has to be better than what I have now. I’m on well water so perhaps that’s the reason.
