Thanks for the replies. She was sold to me as a black Australorp, obviously she is not (or is a mutt). In the mix of Australorps, I was also sold a cuckoo marans mutt mix roo, so I'd take any of this with a grain of salt

She's about 4.5 months old.

If you got a barred/cuckoo cockerel out of the same batch of chicks, this is likely his sister. Black sexlink males are barred, but the pullets typically look like this bird.
At over 4 months old, there are no male saddle feathers present and that comb is still very pale. It's a pullet.

still is strange the rest look like black australorps. None of the others have developed barring or rusty hackle feathers. They have slate legs and white skin. Maybe a roo jumped the fence.
