I am contemplating buying another incubator with part of my tax refund. I was looking at the RollX, just wondering if anyone has experience with these?
I was also looking at an RCom just not sure which would be the better for the money.

I am planning on spending up to $800 for one.

Hubby could build me a nice cabinet one, but it will take his perfectionist self forever and a day to build one...... LOL

I just bought an old used one on Ebay last year for large fowl eggs. Mine has the water bottle into the lid, which I do not like. My friend has a newer one with the bottle on the side of the bator, which is MUCH nicer. The water bottle in the lid doesnt work well at all. The thing with the Roll-X is if you use the autoturner, you need another incubator for hatching as taking out the turner and the turning grid is a PAIN in the BUTT. You would have to take all the eggs out, to take the grid out. I have three TX's though so I put all my hatching eggs in there once they are done being turned. My friend also had the roller parts for the Roll-X, instead of the grid, but she has never used it yet, so cannot tell you how that works.

IMO....I would buy a Dickey Incubator.....located in Georgia (478-982--5515) or www.dickeyincubators.com Earnest has been making his unit for 40+ yrs. the old fashion way, by his hands, using the latest electronic gizmo's too. He sells quality and value....no way near the budget you mentioned....IMO He builds a superior product compared to his competition GQF. Just my thoughts.....plus he answers the phone personally 7 days a week.

I just looked at the Dickeys and I think that is the way to go. Awesome, thanks for the link! Best part is I can save $$ , always a good thing!
