Saber tooth cat. Any ideas?

So this is my cat Crusoe, and he has what looks like saber teeth, you can see them even when his mouth is closed.
Any ideas? I've never seen anything like this.
When we moved into the new house he was already there so we adopted him.
We have no idea how old he is, when we first moved in (5 years ago) the neighbors said had been around for at least ten.
We think he is a British Short-hair, he is outside most of the time, and regularly catches mice.
Does anyone have any ideas about his teeth?
Would love any input! Thanks!

I have seen teeth like that on lots of Tom cats. The cat next door has long teeth too.

It's normal. Some Siamese cats have really long fangs..

We have the same one of these, huge teeth, was living in our house before we moved in too. Also catches lots of mice and leaves them in the house for the dogs.
Not much we can do about it. Also pees on the bed.

So cute! Our often catches moles too...and then leaves them on our doorstep, where they often get stepped on. We still love him though!

Some cats have long canines and that's just how they are. Some have dental disease that's pushing their canines out. Best to have a vet check if you want to be sure!
